What Our Colleagues Are Doing Right, Pt. 2 – Chooze Shoes

A few months ago, we profiled fantastic shoe innovator Chooze Shoes – a company we’re proud to support with premium apparel logistics.

More specifically, we took at a look at the company’s unconventional approach to business that values societal and environmental good as much as profits – all of which, naturally, they invest into anti-poverty programs in Mexico and Bangladesh.

Check out what Chooze Shoes has done:

In collaboration with the Soles4Souls micro-enterprise program, Chooze launched the Create a Difference Kids Designer Challenge. The company invited kids to submit drawings accompanied by a message of hope to be used on one of Chooze’s iconic shoes. The winning designs and messages will be sold around the world in support of Soles4Souls work.

Beyond the feel-good factor, let’s take a look at how this is good for both business and the company’s broader missions:

  • It engages customers in a fun and creative way
  • It transcends the typical company-customer relationship
  • It fulfills the company’s mission to empower children and use its creative and business capabilities to make the world just a little bit better place

To do run your business this way, however, requires nothing less than cutting-edge apparel supply chain management and fashion logistics services. When the mission extends far beyond the bottom line, every bit of savings you can glean from enhanced supply chain efficiency counts ten-fold. There’s less room for waste along the supply chain, less room for inbound logistics delays at customs bottlenecks, and less room for anything less than highly optimized apparel logistics. Supply chains must be more flexible. And, of course, apparel quality control is as important as ever.

Here at The Apparel Logistics Group, we’re thrilled to help. Contact us to learn how we can help your company fulfill its most inspired visions.
